Teaching Assistant (SEMH) – S41

We are working alongside an Alternative Provision (AP) located in the Chesterfield Area – Seeking to find staff who can commit to long-term, full-time roles.

The AP provides programmes of education to primary and secondary age pupils identified as being at risk of exclusion or whom have already been excluded from mainstream education. Students within the provision have varied and complex needs.

As an AP Teaching Assistant – Your priority will be to support and re-engage young people with education whilst being pro-active and mentally strong to keep up with the fast pace of the school.

 

Minimum Expectations for Applicants:

  • IT Literate.
  • You must be able to drive.

Hours:

  • 8:30am-4:30pm (Except Friday’s where you will finish at 3:30pm)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
