Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): The ideal candidate must possess QTS, either through completion of a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
2. Specialization in English: A strong academic background in English Language and Literature, with a degree or relevant qualifications in English or a related field.
3. Early Career Teacher (ECT) Status: Applicants should be within their early career stage, demonstrating enthusiasm and readiness to embark on a fulfilling journey in teaching.
4. Commitment to Professional Development: The candidate should exhibit a willingness to engage in continuous professional development, actively seeking opportunities to enhance their teaching practice and stay abreast of educational developments.
5. Strong Classroom Management Skills: The ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, with effective behavior management strategies in place.
6. Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
7. Adaptability and Flexibility: The capacity to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, while remaining flexible in response to changing educational requirements.
8. Passion for Education: A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young minds, coupled with a dedication to nurturing academic achievement and personal growth in students.
9. Commitment to School Ethos: Alignment with the school's values and ethos, including a dedication to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the school community.
10. Enhanced DBS Check: All successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, ensuring suitability to work with children and young people.
