‘Good’ Oldham Secondary school is seeking to appoint a teacher of English from Easter until Summer. This position is initially being offered on a temporary basis, with a longer term prospect available for the appointed English teacher.
The well established English department has expanded with the year 7 intake being larger than usual, thus the need arising for another member of staff. The role will mainly incorporate teaching Key Stage Three, with a few lessons at Key Stage Four level.
Results within the English department have always been above the National Average, and students have been identified to be making sufficient progress through the Progress 8 Scores. It is expected for this position, that the appointed English teacher has previous experience differentiating work for a range of abilities within the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
