A large Secondary school in the Blackley area of Greater Manchester have an opening for a teacher of English to join them from Easter. Due to expansion within the English Faculty, the school wish to appoint a teacher with experience delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4, along with supporting small intervention groups at GCSE level.
- 0.8 position initially, Easter start.
- Half timetable of full class teaching, half timetable delivering GCSE intervention
- Working within a new build Secondary school with state of the art facilities
- Pay in line with previous teaching experience
- Great location, accessible via the M60 Motorway
By incorporating intervention delivery with full class teaching, this position is ideal for an English teacher seeking a lighter timetable.
“In order to alleviate pressure from existing teachers in the period prior to examinations, we are seeking a teacher who has experience of both intervention support and full class teaching up to GCSE. This post will primarily continue until summer, however dependent on the success, a permanent role may be available from September.” – Head of English.
