English Teacher

The Head Teacher of a client school in Hull is seeking to appoint qualified English teachers who share the sense of excitement and belief in the success of the school and its vision for the future. This includes the expectation of at least good teaching and learning and an environment where colleagues work to the highest standards of professionalism. The teachers at this school prepare, teach, mark, assess and contribute to the development of the pupils in a rigorous, creative and effective way.

The school is a mixed 11–16 and Sixth Form institution serving a comprehensive intake. They have an absolute commitment to inclusion and making a difference to the life chances of all students. During the last few years they have transformed the expectations of the pupils and their community. The successful candidate will have :

• A good degree in English or another curricular area
