ENGLISH TEACHER

A vibrant secondary school in the Wycombe area are looking to hire a English teacher. This role commences following the May half-term (07/06/2021) and will require applicants to teach English to Key stages 3 and 4.

The school are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual who will encourage students and create an engaging atmosphere to aid students’ educational attainment. Candidates will also have to plan and deliver lessons to cater to students with a variety of abilities.

Teaching Personnel have an outstanding reputation for training and developing colleagues. Therefore, applications are welcome from NQTs as well as experienced teachers. 

Requirements for the role:

  • Hold QTS/NQT status in the UK or have equivalent qualifications.
  • Have experience teaching English Language and Literature to Key stages 3 and 4
  • Have excellent classroom management
  • Be required to undertake teacher responsibility including planning, preparing lessons and marking
  • The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
  • Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Residing in the UK or have a UK address you are moving to in the near future to comply with the DBS requirements
