A vibrant secondary school in the Windsor area are looking to hire an English teacher. This role commences at the start of the next academic year (06/09/2021) and will require applicants to teach English language and literature up to Key Stage 5.

The school are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual who will encourage students and create an engaging atmosphere to aid students’ educational attainment. Candidates will also have to plan and deliver lessons to cater to students with a variety of abilities.

Teaching Personnel have an outstanding reputation for training and developing colleagues. Therefore, applications are welcome from NQTs as well as experienced teachers. 

Requirements for the role:

  • Hold QTS/NQT status in the UK or have equivalent qualifications.
  • Have experience teaching English Language and Literature across all Key Stages (KS3-5)
  • Have excellent classroom management
  • Be required to undertake teacher responsibility including planning, preparing lessons and marking
  • The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
  • Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Residing in the UK or have a UK address you are moving to in the near future to comply with the DBS requirements

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
