Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive English language lessons to students
  • Plan and prepare lesson materials and resources
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure discipline
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding students' academic performance
  • Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, grades, and assessments
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in English language teaching techniques and methodologies
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

The English Teacher will work in a school setting, primarily in the classroom. The role involves regular interaction with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians. The teacher may need to adapt to varying classroom environments and work with diverse student populations. The work schedule follows standard school hours, typically Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
