Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a passionate, dedicated and innovative English Teacher to work within a large secondary school in Darlington on a full-time basis. This role is to begin April 2024, for one term initially with the outlook that it will run for the full academic year.

When working within the school, you will have access to the schools CPD programmes and given effective PPA time in order to allow for a better work life balance. This school provides state of the art facilities, and the department is keen to meet with potential applicants as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of delivering English Literature and/or English Language to KS3
  • The ability to differentiate lesson material and tailor learning to pupil needs.
  • Suitable school-based references
  • Have an up-to-date DBS on the Update Service/be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS
  • A willingness to undertake CPD training and contribute to extracurricular activities within the school.
