English Teacher Expiring soon

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable English Teacher with QTS to support learners aged 8-18 within a specialist education setting. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, working 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

You will be joining an exceptional specialist provision set in peaceful, rural surroundings. The setting is highly regarded for:

Learners have a range of complex Special Educational Needs, including: Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Communication, sensory and developmental needs and Physical and medical needs

• Plan and deliver adapted English lessons to meet individual needs

• Use creative and multi-sensory approaches to support communication

• Create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment

• Work closely with support staff, therapists and families

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Minimum 6 months childcare experience, particularly supporting children with SEN needs

• Experience teaching learners with PMLD and/or SLD is highly desirable

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the rural location
