We are working in partnership with a number of well-regarded secondary schools across North Manchester who are looking to appoint passionate and dedicated English Teachers for roles starting immediately and from September. Opportunities are available on a full-time, part-time and permanent basis, making this an excellent opportunity whether you’re an experienced teacher seeking your next long-term move or an ECT looking to secure your first role in education.
You will be joining supportive and forward-thinking departments where English is valued as a core subject. Schools are keen to meet teachers who can deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4, with some opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience. The ability to build rapport quickly, manage behaviour effectively and raise attainment across mixed ability groups will be key, alongside a genuine enthusiasm for literature and language.
To be considered, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, with recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school. Strong subject knowledge, a commitment to student progress and a proactive approach to planning and assessment are essential. Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers.
In return, you will benefit from competitive pay rates, long-term career opportunities and the support of a dedicated consultant who understands the local North Manchester education market
