Are you a passionate English Teacher ready for your next teaching opportunity?

We are looking for an English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Chichester area. This long-term opportunity offers the chance to teach across KS3 and KS4, helping students build confidence in reading, writing and communication skills.
You will join a collaborative English department focused on delivering engaging lessons and achieving excellent outcomes for students.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Supporting students with reading, writing and analytical skills
• Planning and adapting lessons to meet varying learning needs
• Monitoring progress and supporting student attainment
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Encouraging confidence and creativity within learning
• Supporting departmental and whole-school initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
• Strong classroom management skills
• Positive, organised and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
