Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting an English Teacher to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a variety of supportive secondary schools throughout Doncaster.

Position: English Teacher

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £140 - £195 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

About the Role

Working as an English Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils develop confidence in reading, writing and communication.

The English Teacher role in Doncaster may also include opportunities to undertake general secondary cover within local schools, providing additional flexibility and varied teaching experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet pupils' needs
• Undertake general secondary cover where required
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English within secondary schools
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
