English Teacher / Northwich / October Half-Term Start / Fixed-Term Contract

Academics, a leading national education recruitment agency, is working in partnership with a supportive secondary school towards the Northwich area to recruit a dedicated English Teacher to join their team from October half-term.

The school is seeking a teacher to work 3 days per week until Christmas initially, with the potential for the placement to be extended. The school location offers convenient access from surrounding areas of Cheshire East, including Crewe and Nantwich.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full academic potential.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management.
• Commit to a part-time timetable of three days per week, starting from October half-term.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Secondary English.
• Recent experience teaching English up to KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
• An enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching.
• A genuine commitment to supporting students' learning and development.

• £160-£230 per day, depending on experience.
• Weekly PAYE pay, with no umbrella company deductions.
• 24/7 dedicated support from a team of friendly consultants.
• Access to a wide range of teaching opportunities across Staffordshire and Cheshire.
• Earn up to £125 through our 'Refer a Friend' scheme.
