Location: Uxbridge, Greater London

Salary: £34,000–£56,000+

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire students.
• Support students in developing strong literacy skills, critical thinking, and independent learning habits.
• Monitor student progress through assessment, feedback, and targeted intervention.
• Prepare students for assessments and examinations, supporting their academic progress and future educational pathways.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the department.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and academically ambitious learning environment where students can achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

• A degree in the relevant subject area alongside Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to motivate, challenge, and support students to achieve excellent outcomes.
• A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed.
