Academics, a leading education recruitment agency based in Stoke-on-Trent, are working in partnership with a supportive middle school in the Staffordshire Moorlands to recruit an enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from January.

This is a full-time, fixed-term maternity cover position, running from January through to the end of the summer term in July.

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS2-KS3.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Inspire and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils' progress.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Secondary English.
• Recent experience teaching English across KS2 and KS3.
• Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management skills.
• A passionate, enthusiastic and reliable approach to teaching.
• The ability to inspire and engage students of varying abilities.
• Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
