Role Summary:
As a Mathematics ECT at our school, you will:
*
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS3 to KS5, ensuring high standards of learning and achievement.
*
Work collaboratively with the Mathematics Department to develop curriculum materials and innovative teaching methods.
*
Participate in the school’s mentoring program, receiving guidance and professional development support from experienced colleagues.
*
Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
*
Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
*
Participate in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements for the Role:
*Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to receive it by September 2024.
*Hold a relevant degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
*Demonstrate a clear understanding of the current curriculum and pedagogical approaches in Mathematics.
*Exhibit a passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students in a stimulating learning environment.
*Show commitment to personal growth and professional development.
*Have the ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
*New to the teaching profession as this post is designed for an Early Career Teacher.
