Maths Tutor

Hours: Part-time | Weekdays | School Hours
Pay: £25–£30 per hour (depending on the placement)

Are you a passionate and dedicated 1:1 Tutor looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people?

We are seeking enthusiastic tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition for students who require additional academic support. As a 1:1 Tutor, you will:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student's individual learning needs.
• Adapt teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles and abilities.
• Deliver high-quality one-to-one tuition in core subjects such as English, Maths and Science.
• Support students with a range of learning needs, including SEN, SEMH, ASD and ADHD where required.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to schools, parents and the agency.
• Build positive relationships that promote confidence, engagement and a love of learning.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and session outcomes.

• Experience teaching or tutoring children and young people.
• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE or equivalent) is desirable but not essential with relevant tutoring experience.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Experience supporting students with SEN or additional learning needs is advantageous.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Access to your own transport is desirable.
