• Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students
• Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English at the secondary level

The role involves working in a secondary school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. Occasional participation in extracurricular activities and school events may be required. MATERNITY COVER.

A popular 11 to 18 school with 1250 students (180+ in the Sixth Form) and is expanding. As a school they are in the top 10% of schools nationally for KS4 progress and in the top 5% of schools nationally for KS5 progress. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
