  • Provide high-quality tutoring to secondary school students in a specific subject area
  • Develop tailored lesson plans and materials to meet the individual learning needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school staff
  • Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to support students' academic success
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with secondary school students
  • Strong subject knowledge in the specific area of tutoring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience at the secondary school level

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
  • Understanding of current educational practises and learning strategies
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or subject area
  • Experience in delivering online tutoring or remote learning
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
  • Work in a secondary school setting
  • Potential for remote tutoring opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
