As a Secondary Spanish Teacher, you will build confidence in communication through clear routines, repetition, and structured progression across KS3 and KS4.

Key responsibilities
Teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4
Develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
Introduce grammar and sentence structure clearly
Build vocabulary through consistent practice
Prepare students for GCSE exams
Track progress and adapt teaching
Maintain structured and calm classroom routines

The classroom environment
Lessons are predictable and organised
Students feel confident to attempt answers
Practice is regular and structured
Behaviour is calm and focused

Skills and experience
Strong Spanish language knowledge
Clear pronunciation and modelling
Experience teaching or strong academic background
Classroom management

What success looks like
Students speak more confidently
Accuracy improves over time
Participation increases consistently

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with language or overseas experience
