Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a client Secondary School in Waterlooville who are looking to recruit a English Teacher to start a long-term full-time role from when schools reopen. The School recently received a 'Good' OFSTED report in all areas and are continuously praised for their student achievements. They work harmoniously with local Primary Schools to ensure pupils are well prepared for secondary education and that their learning is on track throughout key stages to ensure a smooth transition. 

Due to this being a long-term role, you will be required to plan, deliver and mark the work of the students so experience with this is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Teaching English to KS3 & KS4
  • Starting ASAP
  • English as a specialist subject.
  • Willingness to participate in the school’s extra-curricular programme

All candidates MUST:

  • Have a Teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) in English
  • Have the right to work within the UK
  • A DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
  • Have the ability to provide school based references
  • Be available for work asap
