Teaching Personnel are seeking a Trainee English Teacher to work at one of our partner schools in the Farnborough area, close to Basingstoke.

The school is an specialist provision, catering for pupils from KS1-KS4 with complex learning needs such as ASD and ADHD. The school is keen to appoint an enthusiastic English graduate looking to become a qualified teacher.

The school has excellent links to the local community, and is easily commutable from Basingstoke, Fleet, Farnham, and other surrounding areas.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated trainee teacher. The school are very keen to support you with your professional development and career advancement, including supporting you with teacher training.

To be successful in this role you should:

  • be calm and patient
  • hold a relevant degree (English Literature, English Language, Education etc)
  • have a good understanding of the curriculum in order to support pupils
  • have previous experience working with pupils with SEN and/or SEMH needs
